Many of our ways and reasons for doing things have been unstable. Now we ponder and observe with great interest our every way. Really look at each move, each thought, each process, slow down the WAY every little thing is done. Do each thing only for the sake of doing it (not to get it over with). Experience life and take inventory as we do. What a difference such an attitude makes for me. Just typing these words has me enjoying a slow index finger way of plodding my way through this blog entry. A chore becomes a pleasure!I must remember to see, seek, love and nurture Scott. He is God's creation with a perfect plan installed already; the better I know and and then take care of him, the closer I come to understand his Creator.
I love this entry from the commentator of Step 4 in the Serenity Program "We will courageously seek out and identify our weaknesses, knowing that God is with us to impart His wisdom and His unconditional love as we advance through the healing process"
"Please God remind us never to give up on us. You made us perfectly for our life and every happening is a piece of great importance. May we come to know our purpose and how to achieve it with Your help-Amen!"
