The story of Jacob making up with his brother Esau demonstrates how careful we must be in our approach to reconciliation or asking for forgiveness. There may be areas that you know need attention and amending of some sort, but you are unsure of the approach. Try writing out your words, praying over them and waiting for that special peace that only God provides. If you don’t get it, try something else. There may be some situations that are better off left alone. Try writing a letter and keeping it for now. Bounce the idea off one or two of your program friends and then move on. Your effort for now is complete and should things change in the future; well then you can reconsider.
