Applying Conscious Contact with God to the Day!

MEETING TONIGHT AT 10165 YONGE ST #3 @ 730PM

Pray Together, Stay Together

How do we handle our day once we have established conscious contact with God?

Original steppers were told to ask themselves some questions before retiring at night “were we resentful, selfish, dishonest or afraid today?” “were we kind and loving toward all?” “is there anything we should be discussing with others, am I burying any secrets?” “what could I have done better?”

After completing the review they asked God’s forgiveness and inquired as to what corrective measures should be taken?

Upon awakening it was suggested that they think about the 24 hours ahead, asking for direction and that their thinking be divorced from self-pity, dishonest or self seeking motives.

Direction was also needed many times during the day and over time we would come to know when God was inspiring us. We came to know him better as a friend and mentor who always gives us what is best for us and not necessarily what we feel is best. Praying with a partner, spouse or friend(s) was and is invaluable, do it whenever possible! People who pray together, stay together!

We will discuss “How to listen to God” and record his responses in future blogs and at our weekly meetings.
